The Course

The "Introduction to Deconstruction" course was born out of a deep understanding and empathy for those who have experienced the often tumultuous journey of questioning and leaving high-control, organized religion.

Having witnessed the profound impact that religious beliefs can have on one's identity and self-worth, we felt compelled to create a space where individuals could safely explore and deconstruct these beliefs and experiences. This course is designed to empower students to reclaim their personal truth, foster self-discovery, and build a supportive community.

By providing the tools and guidance needed to navigate this complex process, my goal is to help others find healing, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose in their post-religion lives.

For over two decades, Mary was deeply entrenched in the evangelical religious community, a period marked by both devotion and profound personal challenges. During this time, she endured physical, emotional, and sexual trauma; experiences that were intertwined with the very fabric of her religious upbringing. These experiences left indelible marks on her identity and self-worth, shaping her early life in ways that were both confining and painful.

In her early twenties, she found the strength to embark on a courageous journey of deconstruction, stepping away from the religious beliefs and environments that had long held sway over her life. This decision marked the beginning of a transformative decade, during which she meticulously unraveled the layers of indoctrination and began to rebuild her sense of self. It was a journey of healing and self-discovery, one that required immense courage and resilience.

After ten years of personal deconstruction, she felt a pull to extend her journey into a mission to help others. She began coaching individuals who, like her, sought to break free from the confines of toxic religious beliefs and environments.

Her work focuses on empowering people to reclaim their autonomy and discover their true identities, guiding them to build lives that resonate with their authentic selves.

While her professional background is in network engineering—a field in which she is both educated and skilled—her true passion lies in helping others navigate their paths away from toxic religion.

She has found immense fulfillment in witnessing individuals unearth their autonomy and embrace their true identities. This work is not just about leaving behind harmful beliefs; it's about unveiling the amazing potential within each person to create a life they genuinely love and cherish.

Through her coaching, Mary aims to inspire and support others in reclaiming their power and fostering a sense of freedom and self-love that propels them forward into a future of their own making. Her journey from indoctrination to empowerment is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and the incredible possibilities that await when one dares to step into their true identity.
